A contemporary Russian sculptor whose artistic path is rooted in family heritage: both his grandfather and father were stone carvers. Growing up in a creative environment, he absorbed from an early age a love for form and a deep sensitivity to material. Educated at the Ural branch of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after Ilya Glazunov, Kirill mastered working with metal, ceramics, and stone, yet it was stone that became his primary medium — a conduit for ideas and meaning. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
His work often engages with local mythology, religious imagery, and the Neo-Russian style. Simple forms unfold into spaces of associations and metaphors, inviting the viewer into an intellectual dialogue. Kirill’s sculptures emerge at the intersection of tradition and modernity, becoming objects that not only enrich a space aesthetically but also serve as its semantic anchors.
